"Practicing and applying the techniques is much better than just reading the material at home. Having the instructor feedback was invaluable." --A.C. (One of our many happy clients)

Peace on Birth has offered HypnoBirthing classes to families in Northern Virginia for over 4 years, to help mothers prepare for a calm, relaxed birth no matter the kind of birth she has chosen.

Mothers and birthing companions will learn the process of labor and birth both physically and emotionally, tools and techniques for deep relaxation in pregnancy, birth and postpartum, how to make the best decisions as a parent for you and your baby and guidance to trust your instincts.

Hypnobirthing classes

HypnoBirthing - The Marie Mongan Method is taught in a series of 5 classes at three hours long. The cost of group classes is $350 and private in home instruction is $750. Each class series includes the HypnoBirthing Book, Self-Hypnosis CDs, and class binder of handouts.

HypnoMothering - This 2 1/2 hour in long class is for moms to be, new mothers, and moms of young children. Developed by two hypnotherapists, each a mother of twins, this fun, practical class teaches mothers easy and fast self-hypnosis techniques to make the most of limited sleep, keep calm and balanced on challenging days, and find focus and mindfulness amidst the myriad of feelings that mothers face. Class comes with handouts and an additional download of relaxation tracks for mother in her postpartum period.

Thanks again, Katie, for teaching us so much and offering us a way to experience our baby’s birth calmly, comfortably, and intimately with each other.  We’re now not only feeling ready for the experience but are excited for it…what a great gift.” -- M.C. South Riding, VA
