It is quite an amazing thing, I mean what it went through and what it has gone through to take back its power. Growing up it caused her some confusion. When exactly she knew she had one, and what it's purpose truly was is hard to say.
It was suppressed and shoved aside when it began causing the physical monthly pain and it was a condition that had no cure till it would bear children (as she was told). There was no honoring of what her uterus was doing for her and it was cause of social disparity for years. As the feelings and emotions of adolescence took over and the hormones were raging there was confusion on what her body was telling her and what others were telling her. What was right and what was wrong? Over and over again hearing everything that was wrong and negative, what she shouldn't do and what she should. Overtime her uterus would be privy to some abuse and to numb that experience and sense of loss it became nothing short of utter defeat. It's innocence gone, what hope would remain.
Hope did remain and love would take over again. Years later there would be one who would slowly help bring back its power and presence to her life, showing it purpose of creating and bringing life. Not all life created within it walls would survive and her owner would weep for that which was lost, but she held on to hope and her uterus powerfully birthed two children with love, primal energy and grace from the Spirit who held her heart. Her uterus no longer had to hide, there was no shame, there was forgiveness and love and power again. It was hers to take back. She did and still does.
